I am playing through Deus Ex and i have finished the first mission. I killed a bunch of people and wont he day!
when i got back to base, a couple of people gave me some hassle for all the killing i did. I was like "wow... what is THEIR problem?!"
then i had a mission in a police station. "Police are the good guys" i am thinking. so i don't kill anyone, i sneak around and manage to do the mission without anyone finding me or anyone dying.
then i talk to this guy who was part of the baddies in the first mission. he goes "Hey man, you killed all my friends..." and suddenly i felt really bad. I felt like because i thought they were baddies, it was "Ok" to kill them. but tell me its the police, and all of a sudden its wrong. even tho, in both cases i could have probably got through it all without killing. anyways, it made me stop and think for a while.
Enjoying the game.
I did the exact opposite, didn't kill a single person! Although I had all the sarif officers having a go at me saying I let the dude go. Now gotta infiltrate the police station :)
ReplyDeleteI let the dude go too :) but i killed all his buddies. i thought they were baddies!
